Fated is a musical retelling of the Greek myth of Echo and Narcissus, exploring the multiplicity of companionship, feminine rage and our innate desire for revenge.

Nemesis, the Greek goddess of revenge, has a story to tell: story of a young girl with an old curse. We find ourselves on the banks of the River Styx, where the scorned nymph, Echo, and the ever-vengeful goddess enact their wrath on Narcissus, a mortal whose fate is to never love anyone other than himself.

About the Music

Fated has a guitar based score, with both folk/ rock and jazz/blues influences. Each of the characters has their own musical style. Echo, who is a storytelling wood nymph has a folk sound to represent the history of folk music being a way to pass on stories. Her style changes to more rhythmic and syncopated when she gets influenced by Nemesis, the goddess of Revenge, whose style is more rooted in R&B. Narcissus, a man cursed to never know himself yet be in love with himself has a Pop/Rock style- with more electric guitar and bass riffs.
